Beethoven's Emperor Concerto, 1st Movement, conducted by Maestro Robert W. Butts, The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey, Paul Zeigler, piano, May 4, 2008, The College of St Elizabeth, Producer: Brian Foran, Pure Sounds Studios
I love this piece, it was a good energetic performance...Though it could have been a bit tighter, and some of the wind instruments were out of tune...It sounded like the bassoons.
He reminds me of myself: Intense, nervous and aggitated while playing. Not relaxed. Like he's struggling with this piece. I'm the same way, only part of his movements are part of his performance. What's MY excuse? lol
But it still sounds very good. Much better than I.
