@mrkittycat110 i don't know. googling the answer would be a lot faster and more accurate than asking me.

@walteran999 that's why subaru is financially stable and volvo loses money every year and was just purchased by the chinese, right?

My GF has a 2005 RAV4 and she says it's a great AWD vehicle. But after watching some [idiots] people taking them off-road, I see a failure in the system. I saw some wheel spin here, which is expected, but what I also saw is that the Forester continued to move forward and not get stuck. I own two Impreza and I winter drive both, at city speeds those cars are stable. At higher speeds you can get your self into trouble, again as expected. Great vid, just had to lower the volume down.

Great car build ugly. Slight improvement over previous years, but come on...

@parkerpaxton5 - Nice car, shitty microphone, I did read the description, very hard to listen to with all the wind buffeting...but I guess that doesn't matter...I won't bother watching anymore of your videos either.

Did that guy say there arent any competition out there because they can't make it over those hills.? Plus way to much wheel spin before the system engages to transfer power.

@SoDaSub well thats odd, because visually You can not tell that its that high :), im shocked atm.

@Razor4ever at 8.7 or 8.9 inhches (depending on model) it has more ground clearance than anything in its class and more the most truck based SUVs as well.

@cheemooo If you're worried about comfort, go buy a Lexus, BMW, Acura, or a Benz. I'll gladly take that Forester off your hands for free if you dislike it that much!

@ss19800 i would love to try this in my truck

Subaru should focus on working on there awfull comfort in their vehicles instead of worrying about off road perfromance. I have a 2010 forester and its the most uncomfortable junk i have ever driven. Subaru engineers might just be brain dead. They put the brake pedal so far left that it is so tiring its like playing twister every time you brake. The seatbelt rides up high on the lap, combine this with the poor brake position and the award of most uncomfortable vehicle maker ever is easily Subaru!

@cheemooo good for you. i have a 2005 wrx and it's not exactly the pinnacle of comfort but it fits my body size, and it's reliable as all hell. best car i've ever had. so i guess my personal anecdote cancels out your personal anecdote.
