SWTOR on The Shadowlands Imperial Agent early quests and showing the mass effect wheel for talking in its glory. I Filmed this early part of being a Human Imperial Agent of which start on Planet HUTTA, I wish I filmed the early teen levels such as the group instance called "The Black Talon" of which is on board the Imperial Fleet. You get to make endless sadistic choices, such as saving an Empire Generals life for the information he has for +100 Light Points, or choosing the +100 darkside points and telling him he has insulted you with his "Information" about super weapons the empire is building, and that he has to die now, cinematically killing him in cold blood - Conversations in groups are instant dice rolls that go up to 200 called social rolls, which earn social points (allows you to get items, just like the PVP vendor or faction vendors). whoever wins the roll gets to choose which of the 3 "Light" "Neutral" or "Dark" answer of which effects the entire group. - The Black Talon for this reason is repeatable as many times as you wish.

During my play I was the group leader who started it solo with an NPC Companion (of which also can gain Romancing options via Affections points gained through your quest dialogue wheel choices (if he or she agrees with your choices)- you can have a companion fight by your side (with a quick bar of ability and character sheet for full equiping!) and you can have multiple later on and send some off to go Mining or Salvaging while you PVP, Quest, or Raid.

I chose on the black talon as soon as I got on board and eliminated the Rebel spies in guard uniform to Kill the captain for his incompitence, +100 dark points shooting him down in one blaster fire, second in command becomes frieghtened and you can choose to intimidate her; doing so has her yelling at everyone else to listen to me and her. Doing this scares the crew; by the time you've fought the Rebel Jedi defending the above mentioned General, and once you return to the ship the droid on board informs you that a mutiny broke out and everyone was killed, you see the second in command laying dead along with the rest of the crew. - Your choices matter for your characters personal story line of which is very detailed, along with your Dark and Light alignment points (your face becomes more and more corrupt with more dark points

Overall getting to level 18 in the Beta displayed the absolute most polished and fun MMORPG I have played, and I've played MMORPG's since Everquest back in around late july/early august 1999. - This is the first real large leap in style that suites all play types since World of Warcraft of which I am not a large fan of; nor am I a fan of the copy-cat MMORPG's that appeared in the years after.

EA is attempting to take the market over with Bioware having worked on this game for so many years and the level of respect and quality they constantly deliver, to have an MMORPG fully voice acted, cinematic with dynamic story telling that adapts to your choices is impressive enough; the combat is fast paced, there is NO auto attack and each class gets special traits such as the Imperial Agents ability to duck for cover as seen in the combat portions of this video. - in cover you can use abilities you cannot use out of cover and most regular weapon fire will NOT hit you.

- For all classes at level ten you choose your MAIN class, I had the choices of Operative, a talent tree that had 3 sections "Healing, Damage, Damage" the heals were mostly via droids and buffs, the middle column had cloaking, and focused on your vibroknife with abilities like backstab, eviscerate, while the third had general damage boosters for ranged weapons, new types of grenades, etc.

The second is Sniper of which I went with, the talent tree for sniper is pure DPS as its Damage, Damage, Damage. This tree allows you to use a Sniper Rifle and a blaster rifle rather than just a blaster rifle, The sniper rifle is ideal due to the multiple Snipe abilites used when in cover, No Cloaking, No Back Stabbing your vibroknife basically serves as a last resort to snare enemies or do quick damage when out of energy. -- This is a long ranged DPS class, its like choosing from a basic rogue/ranger build as an imperial agent to either an Assasian type role of which can sabotage and heal/buff, or a Ranger type role focusing on Crits, adding range to your fire, and pure DPS.

Extremely well done classes, warrior archtype for example hmmm dual wield light sabers or a twin saber? or just one with other abilities - Bounty Hunter uses a plaster pistol but is filled with endless toys, and the other class (I forget as I did not try) seemed to be the basic "mage" style using the force powers of lightning etc, and from what I read in General also some Martial Arts which sounded great but I did not have enough time to try it;

I did not try any of the Rebellion's classes such as Smuggler of which I played in SWG. Enjoy!

  • @TestSubject0

    You're definitely right. I got the game and have SW:TOR on highest settings, amazing how far away I can see stuff like mountains.

    Even up close it's not pixelated. Everything's real fine and smooth.

  • @troller4jesus WoW has horrible graphics, it already looks better than WoW on the lowest graphics, compared to the highest graphics in WoW. So yes, the Ultra Settings are much -much- better than WoW.

  • Lol, ugliest character ever

  • @Travman949 Agreed :) ... I Checked BetaFootage for the voice samples... Sadly the video's were taken down :/ ... I mean, hell... The game is by BIOWARE, One of the best companies at the pillar of "STORY". It's an wonderful honor to see how BIOWARE turned that story aspect from single player games into an MMORPG. :-)

  • @Zachary0701 thats def news to me. unfortunatly i think your wrong its only 2 for every class. sucks because the voice actors dont sound right for every body shape or race. still better than no voice at all i guess

  • @Travman949 I think... -shrugs- I seen it a few months back ^.^ Not sure though.

  • @Travman949 I believe you may pick 1 voice out of 3... -smiles- Heard about it on Beta-Footage :D ♥.

  • thanks for sharing, i played fem agent in beta and was wondering how the male voice was, much better than my first impression during character creation, bahh I still cant decide
