Wow, it's been 40 years since I've seen NAS Keflavik-Nato base. Thanks I see the buildings look about the same and ...still no trees after all this time! I last saw it from the window of a Braniff (if anyone rememebers that airline) 727. The "Rock" looks good.

I lived in the tan bldg w/red roof (center of screen at time 23 seconds) from 1993-1995. I really enjoyed my tour in Iceland....I've visited Iceland 4 times since 1995. Iceland's purity, simplicity and serentity is unmatched. It's amazing how a simple place can leave such a lasting impression. Also, watching the aurora borealis dance across the sky from the blue lagoon was something I'll never forget -- absolutely amazing.

i used to live there for 4 years, i loved everything there, skating ring, movie theater and especialy the rock field behind the imtermidiate school, there was a smal fort that me and my friends build out of wood in there. i miss it so much, makes me sad to think that it was closed down Dx
