  • I lived in the tan bldg w/red roof (center of screen at time 23 seconds) from 1993-1995. I really enjoyed my tour in Iceland....I've visited Iceland 4 times since 1995. Iceland's purity, simplicity and serentity is unmatched. It's amazing how a simple place can leave such a lasting impression. Also, watching the aurora borealis dance across the sky from the blue lagoon was something I'll never forget -- absolutely amazing.

  • @huskie767 Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. We were there in June just before the summer holidays started and we had a most wonderful time. We are definitely planning on going back for a second visit. Cheers!

  • I used to work in the golf ball!! :)

  • @NavyTokeda - Happy you got to see your old work place again. Cheers!

  • i used to live there for 4 years, i loved everything there, skating ring, movie theater and especialy the rock field behind the imtermidiate school, there was a smal fort that me and my friends build out of wood in there. i miss it so much, makes me sad to think that it was closed down Dx

  • @MegaSuyan - Well, you were lucky enough to get a chance to live in the Arctic and experience the uniqueness of Iceland. It was a very friendly place to visit. Thank you for writing. Cheers!

  • Was there in august 11 and I just cannot wait until I can go back to this wonderful Island Iceland.

  • Thank you sir. Glad my video gave someone happy memories of one of the friendiest places in the Arctic. Cheers!

  • Wow, it's been 40 years since I've seen NAS Keflavik-Nato base. Thanks I see the buildings look about the same and ...still no trees after all this time! I last saw it from the window of a Braniff (if anyone rememebers that airline) 727. The "Rock" looks good.

  • Thank you for the clarification. In Canada and other English speaking countries "am" is from 00:01 to 12:00 noon and "pm" is from 12:01 to 24:00 midnight. Cheers!
