Firemouth Cichlid

This is my Male Firemouth Cichlid at about 4 inches, snacking on the leftovers of a cube of tubifex worms. These guys top out at about 6 inches so hes still got a little more to go. Awesome colors and fins though.

hey do you know if you can have 1 pair of firemouths along with a pair of convicts in a 50 gallon tank?

@rexlinkfish well, yes i think you could if you pack the tank with lots of small hiding places all over the tank, on the bottom, in the middle, wherever you can. Cons are rediculously nasty when they breed they just become ferocious little beasts. FM's are easy to breed but i can guarentee the cons will be the first to breed and possibly their hyper aggressive behaviour once they breed may cause the FM's to get too nervous to breed.

that makes firemouths look good i have 2 now 1 is 2 inches the other is 4 check em out.
