  • @iluvdance2233

    Clear nail polish(:

  • what is this music called?

  • @KawaiiCupcakeRiots I do that too, because I'm afraid if I use matches I'll catch my shoes on fire lol!

  • i need to sew elastic to my 1st pair of pointe shoes and my teacher said to sew it in that place. where do i sew the ribbion if the elastics there?? please help

  • well that wasnt much help!

  • @iluvdance2233 To prevent ribbon from fraying, I like to dab a little bit of clear nail polish on the ends, and it fixes the problem nicely!

  • I use clear dental floss to sew my pointe shoes. It's a lot more durable and thicker than thread and I have been using the same pointe shoes for over 3 months now and there has not been a problem w/ the sewing. (:

And also does anyone know of any different ways to prevent the ribbons from fraying? I burned the tips of my ribbons...I'd just rather not have the ends of the ribbons brown.

  • omg it looks hard im scared to do my own my dance teacher always sewed them on for me but she's retired now!

  • fantastic

  • do you do it the same if you have ballet flats?
