"One Night Band" is based on one of the better music concept nights: a "rock lottery" where a bunch of musicians team up in random order to form 5-member bands for one night, and are given just one day to prepare three original songs and one cover for their set. This Boston version was put on by Boston Band Crush. This song started the evening, and is by the first made-up band of the night, Awesome Chariot. I wasn't planning on cartoonizing it, but the colored spots played havoc with my little Zi6, creating a cartoonish effect that wasn't fixable, so I thought to use my Russian "Cartoonizer" to go all the way. The members of the band, along wth their real bands are: Abe Lateiner from Hands and Knees, Joel Reader from The Fatal Flaw, Ad Frank from Ad Frank and the Fast Easy Women, Jen De La Osa from Aloud, and Michael Potvin from Campaign for Real-Time.
