  • Billy Fury, though sadly long departed,he remains Britains best rock/pop performer EVER. Never had a UK number One hit!

  • Awesome,I don't care much for the original, nothing beats this,Billy is the man.

  • @SpeegBJ Shift: A straight side-seamed, bust darted, round or square collared, sleeveless, no waist, just above the knee-hemmed, zippered-back generally polished cotton dress. Usually small colorful print flowers, or striped. Worn coast to coast by U.S. teens and younger women from 1961 thru the British Invasion.....yahoo miniskirts! Then on to granny dresses and halter tops. : )

  • What year was this song around the U.K?? Also, does anobody know who the other cats playing on this were? They flat-out laid it down on this one. Excellent rocker. Wish I could have seen this guy live. Was he from London? Thank you....joel in tucson, arizona

  • I'm 57, from the southwestern USA (Arizona) and a hard rocker still! I had never heard of Billy Fury until last year. I have XM / Sirius radio in my truck, and the station called "Little Steven's Underground Garage" played this one nite. It knocked my socks off. I always loved rock songs with heavy bass tracks...this obviously has it. Anyhow, Billy knocked me out too! I did a bit of reading up on him...what an incredible talent, and evidently cool guy too. This tune kicks ass. RIP Billy!

  • @SpeegBJ What is a "shift dress?"

  • Shift dresses abound on that dance floor. Go, Billy. The essence of the era; this video.

  • Jimmy Page ftw. Great song. The original is nice too

  • @TheWhitehall yea london is british decca telstar was on a london blue back usually classical records those billy fury records are not listed in price guides ritchie blackmore and the outlaws had a couple of 45s in the US that were listed

  • @spacepatrolman Hi, Billy had just two singles released in the U.S. "I Will" in 1964 on the London Label and in 1968 "Silly Boy Blue" on the Mala Label. Both failed to chart. Fury visited the USA in 1962 when he presented Elvis with a Gold Disc for UK sales of "It`s Now Or Never" He is much missed.

  • @TheWhitehall He had nothing released in the US

  • I love this song! Billy does and excellent job on this song and he looks absolutely gorgeous in this video. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful Billy always missed but never forgotten. RIP SWEET BILLY! You are by far the best Britain ever produced!
