I bought this product and its pure garbage! The much needed drop down tools needed to excavate, staircase landings, floor cutting tools and more are totally missing. I manged to get around some of the missing tools but its almost impossible to design a basement without the missing tools working. Tried using this product on all 3 of my new computers and the tool are still missing on all and the guides & videos refer to them them I feel cheated. The Sims is a way better/easier to design a house.

There are tutorials within the software. Also there is a forum you can join and learn from thee.
I don't use this software any longer.

I use Chief Architect for building and Kerkythea for rendering however Chief Architect has a built in Raytrace software (PovRay) but doesn't render as nicely. You can see what Chief Architect's results look like. The rest of my videos were created with Chief Architect.

Brad, I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you. I don't use Punch any longer. I use Chief Architect software now.
I would suggest you ask your question on the Punch forum. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with your video card.

Someone sent me a comment that I accidentally deleted-sorry.(I thought I clicked on approval-guess not).The question was asked; why this video with Punch and that I shld do more with Chief Architect.This vid was done prior to my purchasing Chief Architect.I placed this video here to show other Chiefers how Punch works with a walkthrough.Chief Architect is a much better program but it lacks the ability to do an easy walkthrough. Punch is a cheap program but does a decent walkthrough.
