Hey I used to think that the purpose of using IR lights is so that people can't see WHERE the light is COMING FROM... but I just read somewhere that it's for use with a night vision optic. If I stand in a perfectly dark room and light up the flashlight... will I see anything with my naked eye other than the actual LED glowing a little bit.

I've a question about the 48 IR lamp
1) Which DC Adapter i need to use? 12v 0.5mA or 12v 1~1.5mA?
2) How big is it? ( Inch, cm etc )
3) Does it light up the entire room?
4) Which IR lamp does it got? ( 3mm or 5mm ? )

I am using my razor phone. I removed the ir filter, but I was thinking it is not as bright because it does not have nightshot on it. Do you think I am right? What do you think? What should I do?

It should work without the IR-filter.

Hey I just got your flashlight. But it is not even close to being as bright as yous. And all the leds work. I can only see down to me feet. Is that becasuse i did not remove to ir filter? How far can you see with yours?
