@tanyasbigbrowneyes I can understand your opinon, but there were better ways of assimilation of white folk, if us white people wanted to share the land why didn't we? Why did we come in raping, killing and stealing? Why is it that we are called the civilised ones when we can't even talk? We just ignore it or blame everyone else. Thank you tanyasbigbrowneyes for echoing what I've always felt to be true, which is that to claim a patch of ground as ones own and to put a fence around it is the height of human arrogance. The land was here before we were and will still be there after we're gone. Real truth really is that simple. Unfortunately it's not a popular view. I dont know about you....but really I believe that no-one owns any land.....we are the caretakers and then pass it on to the next generation.
