Best fielding first baseman of all time. I've never seen anyone make the plays he made. Keith revolutionized the 1b position. Damned good hitter too.

That's right. He also told Orosco that if he threw a fastball, he'd kill him, even if Carter called for it.

Terrific 1st baseman. Loved watching him control the game from first. During the last inning of the NLCS series in '86, he told Gary Carter at a mound conference in a tight game that if he called for anything but curve balls (from a tiring Jesse Orosco) he'd kill him. Always liked that story. Shows why they made him the captain.
