I hava 400... Just got rebuilt... Everything new but the Crank, piston rods, and P-Rods.

nice bronco! my dad had a 1962 ford truck, 4x4 that had a straight 6 & 4 speed tranny in it......he put a 3 inch suspension lift & 3 inch body lift in it and also put a 429 big block & automatic transmission in it..........old fords are awesome! great video

i have a 400 in my mercury, very good engine. mine lasted 475,381.9 miles WITHOUT being rebuilt at all. i have all of the service records to prove it, it seized as soon as the odometer hit the .9
but im rebuilding it so she'll run again!

Who cares if the exhaust is submerged? You need to keep your distributor and your intake dry. Exhaust can be underwater all day
