  • Doesn't Satan actually win at the end of 'Paradise Lost' because man falls? Which was his intention?

    Also important to take into account how unattractive God is as a character in contrast to Satan who is considerably more charismatic and poetic, also, as you said, more human.

    And you should probably have addressed 'Paradise Regained' as that turns a lot of this all on its head, particularly that Milton was a Satan supporter.
