@budgienation Yes, my SIL just lost her 30 year old Blue Front, through the negligence of a vet, and she is just devastated at the loss. The bird loved only her and would bite strangers!

A total sweetie pie! Amazons can be fiesty, but if you win the trust of one of those guys it's 'budddies for life' time. They form such a bond its unbreakable and unshakeable. I had one that I inherited on the passing of my maternal Grandmother, well not literally but Mom and my siter were less than fond of her, so she was 'my bird'. We became such tight buddies! I was closer to her than most people. I grieved hard like for a human, a relative even when the bird passed in her early 70's.
