  • 4 cylinder boxer engine, not flat 4.

  • @CSKAwrestling Its says in the tags

  • the spiel on how the interior is hard and unpleasant to look at is some what expected with a car whos purpose is rally racing so when it comes to having a car with interior buy one that is meant to to be a DD i own a 08 STI hatch and love it i didnt buy it for the interior what so ever because i was expecting the interior to be amazing quality this is a enthusiast car not a grocery getter

  • @playskoolonacid i see it differently tho. The car has its rally racing roots, but 90%+ who own this car wont do no such rally racing, street racing, or do general off-road things with it. Most will see a few inches of snow or face an unpaved road at best. I consider that if a fully loaded model approaches the $40K, a more upscale interior ought to be offered. Of course for those who will use their Subie's capabilities to the fullest, offer a package with a more rugged interior.

  • You are so ignorant when it comes to these cars. You don't purchase this car for the interior or center console, you buy it for the engine. Also it is called a hood scoop and SI drive. You are too caught up with picking apart the interior rather than checking out the engine. I am not trying to be rude but I think you missed the whole idea and concept of the STI and it is a shame. Cheers.

  • @drtbiker5607 I here ya, but thats the perspective from a subie fan & you're right. Tho you must consider that 95% of viewers of this video or who have heard of Subaru aren't aware of the true uniqueness of the brand & just concentrate on everything else.

Similar thing with most Nissan owners who dont know what a CVT is & just think they have an automatic that just shifts differently.

Personally, I love this car & it's engine. But for its price, the interior ought to be more upscale IMO

  • dude youre dumb. you should have gone with a regular impreza. and btw, that controls the throttle response and center differential, not the AWD system. plus, go buy some fucking pillows and tape them to the inside if you want something soft to touch.

  • what makes these motors sound way different the a normal 4 cylinder

  • @YakattakExit Also weight reduction.

  • @Intechdude300 What he's trying to say is, teams take this car and rip it apart for rally, a lot more than you think. It's like getting into a Dodge Viper SRT12 and complaining about how you have no A/C. Most people who are buying a STi will not be buying it for it's "luxurious interior". That's for Acura or Lexus.

  • if u want a car with great finish and interior buy a bmw. Many people who have driven this car have always complained about the interior.

  • This Guy is a DumbAss.!

  • nobody buys a sti for the interior or the back seat room. they buy it for the power of the engine, awd, and the tunability of the engine, suspension, etc. and im pretty sure that most of the people that buy this car will do some off roading or autocross.

  • dude youre dumb. you should have gone with a regular impreza
