This is my original alternative guitar tuning method which can express 24 equal temperament scale. If you are guitarist, please also see method of this tuning.

  • What does "尾上祐一" mean?

  • @TaiFerret It is my name.

  • Hi, is this a true temperment neck? Or is this just a different tuning?

    Thanks.

  • Hi. This is just a different tuning.

    See information of this video.

You can check URL of method of this tuning there.

  • AWESOME!Beautiful and strange music!

I'll try your interesting method of tuning...I've already added 2 extra frets on a classical guitar (between the first and second frets and also between the third and fourth frets) to play arabic modes like "bayati", but your method works on a standart neck, and also for new experimentations!

    THANX!

  • >I've already added 2 extra frets

    That's good idea.

Is there any infomation(like photo and audio) about your special guitar?

    I want to check it.

  • Very traditional sound, I mean its pure culture. Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Algarian, Egyptian and Mongolian type of music.

  • There is nothing wrong with using a 24 tone scale as apposed to a 12 note scale. It is in fact much more creative and creates more options for composers. It is a shame that many people have a very restrictive mind about what is and what isn't music. It isn't even really avaunt-guard. Its just the creation of a new field of music. Kind of like how calculus or linear algebra are fields of math. Not everything is just algebra.

  • So strange hearing this when being so accustomed to standard

  • Anyone know what would be the hertz for all the open strings?

  • you are a innovator of the electric guitar

  • that's pure cunt man !!

  • Sounds Awesome

  • great sounds! Nice idea for the tuning set-up. I figured you would have had to double every fret to do this, but that is pretty clever.

  • @Jewdai "creation of a new field of music" is just about the definition of avant-garde (note the spelling by the way).
