  • How enjoyable! Thank you for posting. The variations is one of the pieces I want to learn. Very helpful.

Boris looks at the sheet. That's good, too.

  • @camomile988 I believe I have sheet music for the complete variations somewhere. I'll pass it on the moment I find it. I like the theme though. It's interesting how at first Beethoven hated Diabelli's theme. He thought that it was a horrible theme. He then decided to compose not one, but 33 variations on this theme. Why?? So that he could simply show Diabelli how such a silly theme can be transformed into something magnificent.

    Interesting story :-)

  • can anyone explain the face he makes at 8:25?? absolutely hilarious ;)

  • @serginietor Don't know...maybe he was like "A trill?? No worries"

  • That page turner is quite pretty. If I was a virtuoso I'd only have babes turning my pages.

  • @mkeysou812 It's like you read my mind...We clearly are on the same page! Haha, babes turning your pages...I just had to say it :) At 6:44 is where you see her clearly, in case you were wondering.

    Yes, she's quite a babe.

  • @Egide0

You are right. I heard that he was reluctant at first.

I have the music book of the variations and began practicing. You don't have to send. Thank you anyway.

  • good i like it

  • @Egide0 yeah, could be

  • @lvbandmore You're Welcome. Try listening to his Rachmaninoff preludes...his interpretations are uniquely awesome.
