How much does the camera weigh?

Good question. I don't have the camera any more. It was around 6 ounces - a typical digital camera weight. Out of a sheet of styrofoam (home insulation), I ade a box so the camera would have protection in a crash. It was hung from the balloon by 4 threads, to keep it from spinning. The balloon might be able to lift as much as a pound. I haven't measured it's max weight. It's hard enough being free on a wind-less sunny day. That's why we moved on to the hovercraft project.
