Chris Wood is a member of the avant garde jazz trio Medeski, Martin, & Wood. One of my favorite groups. The Troutman's basslines are used all over the hip-hop world along with the signature talk box. And I meant to say Victor Wooten who tours with Bela Fleck & the Flecktones and also toured this year as SMV with Stanley Clark and Marcus Miller (Regi is his older guitar genius brother). All incredible electric bassist. Only Wood regularly plays acoustic upright that I'm aware of.

I'm more into electric bass than acoustic, and Jeff Berlin is amazing on electric.

why are you guys saying so much hateful stuff, he is a solid bass player and is really having fun up their, and something about politicians, they all act all upstanding and what not when they are in public but when there are no cameras around they are pretty normal, and I know cuz my moms good friend is a politician. and secondly he has somewhat of a point with weed, i dont smoke weed but i do think it should be legalized with restrictions like alcohol, becuz responsible adults who arent stupid
