Also, I can see where you guys are coming from. I used to play Ultima Online and still do on occasion (11+ year old game), but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, because the fact is 99% of the people still playing it are people that got into it ages ago, very few 'new people' will ever like the game.

Anyway, this first impression video was me logging into the game and running around for 10 minutes without ANY PRIOR research. (It's called a First Impression video for a reason).

Looks like you two nutjobs are lost in nostalgia. There's no doubt in my mind that Mir2 was 'good' when it launched and the years following it, but by today's standards the game isn't good. Fact. Sorry ace, this 9 year old game (Looks like it's a lot older actually) just won't appeal to 99% of gamers. The only people playing it today played it a long time ago and are nostalgic.

really don't think you can judge a game in 6-7 minutes. The game is very addicting and once you get higher level you do not want to stop, but you wouldn't know because you are to high on your horse dissing the game.

this First look dosnt do it justice. it one of the most challengeing games iv played it was origanly a Hunting fighting game the game gets regular updates and the community is something to be awed by moden games it has a cirtan charm to it and pvp on it is so intence boss fights are amazingly fun. so dont be put off by this first look vid or you will miss out on a realy enjoyable game

now call me nostalgic?? when i play other games such as the new remnant knights, world of warcraft and perfect world .

this is still one of the best ever!!

Im a fan of this game, got 3/4 servers and enjoy killing random things

Me, Naz, Viet4life and other guild members use to hunt down the Chinese and it was very satisfying to defeat them, and particularly if they dropped an item off the body.

That made it good. Sadly it has no instructions pretty much in Mir2 and grinding is log and tedious. I just joined after quitting in 2006 and it is very slow, and boring to lvl up, but there's something special about the sounds and game play of my first online game. PVP is actually very good in here, and bosses were competitive. Some nights on Mir2 were so exciting with guild battles for bosses that wow doesn't compare.
