Sorry but that is not what I saw when I watched it. The camera shook in every scene but the "Thelma & Louise" (ending) scene. But maybe "steel" was too harsh a word I should have said every single camera angle was homage in this film with no original ones used.
If a car is hurtling towards a cliff without any indication of slowing down, then it stands to reason that the car will run off the edge of the cliff. That doesn't make it a copy of Thelma & Louise, especially considering that Kirk did not runoff the cliff in the car, which was the entire point to that scene in Thelma & Louise. Perhaps you missed that.
Paying homage to previously conceived camera angles is not as big a crime as you seem to be making out...
I call it "Thelma & Louise" because the camera angles are taken from there, plus, being chased by police towards a cliff. "Paying homage to previously conceived camera angles is not as big a crime as you seem to be making out..." It is if EVERY camera angle is taken from other movies. When that happens it's no longer paying homage it's theft.
The thing is this movie gets away with it because they Jar Jar was smart enough to steal from more then 3 movies and added lens flares so he can say "But your shots don't have flares in them." that one little addition is enough of a loop hole to allow him to steal other peoples work. Same thing with the story, by smashing 7 stories together he makes it hard for the legitimate artists to take him to court. I'm not saying you should not watch it. I'm saying I like true art work.
You put it into Qoutations first. Second lazyness in using the spell checker. Third I know I can't spell and I'm very sensitive about that learning disorder I have.
No because they had mostly original content. Plus, original stories. Not a slaped to gether pice of junk disined to blind the audiance and make them dissy. You want that sort of thing go ride a rolercoster. It does not belong in a move. That's the way I see it.
