  • This is by far the best video that I have seen on this subject. Your common sense approach is refreshing and encouraging.

  • @akadivinity: Thanks. I appreciate that. Glad you found it helpful!

  • I noticed that someone told you that you talk a lot. I don't agree. I appreciate all the research that you have done and shared. It takes a lot of time to create and maintain blogs and video blogs. So, thank you. Keep up the good work.

  • @Mrswonderfulme: Thank you so much hun for the support! People who say that act as though I'm making vids just for them. I don't understand why some feel the need to leave rude comments like that, because if they don't like the vid or my style, they should press pause and move on!

  • @blackbarbiediva13: Unnecessary to who? Trust, I get bombarded with a ton of questions, so what may be considered common knowledge to one person isn't so with another.

  • Hi, I love your videos! I've been watching a couple of them and I understand that you aren't a professional or anything but i just have one question: What is your hair type? Im a 3c and i was in the process of transitioning. Yea, everybody's hair is different but its still good to have some type of image to show how their hair might look. But once again...i love your vids and keep em coming :)

  • i just decided yesterday to go natural for the first time in my life ever and i just want to say thank you for posting all of these videos! i've never even considered going natural before as i'm one of those ladies who was raised to rely on relaxers and the stylist (and was never even suggested to go natural as an alternative). keep up the great work and i hope to see more videos from you as i continue my transition and upkeep of going natural :)

  • i have getting relaxers since i was 11 years old, (right now i'm 14) I have transitioning since august 2010, and i always think about getting a relaxer every time i see my natural curly hair, but seeing your videos makes me not get relaxers, and i know in the long run, i will have healthier NATURAL hair.

    thank you :))

  • My other concern is that since you don't have a relaxer, you must really have a nice grade of hair coz' mine will sweat out even with a press. It's terrible so I do want to go natural but I'm scared due to style, and military regulations. Or can I just opt for micros or cornrows?

  • I just discovered you and I'm hooked. You're my new inspiration!!!!

  • Great video!!! Thanks for the info...i use to have natural curly until i was constantly bashed about having it in high school...ppl would talk about my fro and how big it was or why i would wear my hair that way....i love your videos it encourages me more to like transition now...i feel beter especially with your tips!!! Thanks :)

Do you have a page on FACEBOOK...IF SO PLEASE POST IT!!!

  • LOVE THE INFO!

  • I am at the very beginning of my journey. My last relaxer was 11 weeks ago. I've been considering going natural for a few months and decided to take the leap in this new year! I love the video's and have subscribed. I look forward to checking out your blog!
