  • That is a neat story. I have a question for you if you don't mind. Sometimes people tell me stories like these which are really cool, only I'm an atheist and I don't want to offend them or put up the "invisible wall." What should I say back to them?

  • Since I am not an atheist I wouldn't be in a position to advise an atheist on what to say in response to someone's Christian testimony. But I have a question for you. As an atheist, why do you find my testimony a "neat story" and state that such stories are "really cool"?

  • What a great testimony, don,t you just love Jesus,Ive been a christian now for about 7mths

its changed my life in so many ways, I praise the lord.I could not imagine my life with out him now.God bless

  • I say they are "really cool" because I think that powerful, life-changing events such as yours are rarely shared among others. People fear of being vulnerable, but you reached out and shared your life-defining moment to the world. I find that amazing.

  • The point is that I have a lot of respect for the events that cause a person to change their entire life perspective. I know that it usually very personal, and when someone shares that with me, I take it as their extension of friendship. I know I called them "neat stories" in my previous post (which they are in a way) but I also understand what they mean to each person.

  • Well, it has to be taken back to my childhood, where I was rasied Catholic. My upbringing was based more on tradition than on bible-believing. Then, when I turned 15 or so I spent three years of my life studying the bible with a solid group of friends (second year, I testified to Jesus). That belief was so powerful that it encompassed my entire being - well, until I became absorbed in university life.
