Amazing! Peter is the polar opposite of Hinton Battle who did the original Broadway "John" who remains the WORST I've ever heard (that guy needs a speech therapist and should have been taught to respect the libretto and not stylize the song and convert it from a marching number to a gospel song)!

At the "All the good we failed to do" part, I never understood the triplets for the first three years of listening/singing/playing, now I LOVE that bit, kudos Mr Polycarpou

I have to say I've seen this musical many times and always have loved it! I can relate to this musical also because even though I am a south Korean adoptee I feel like one of the dui boi .

@levierdragon - the fact I'm living in Germany doesn't mean I'm German. In fact, I am not.
Besides, not all Germans used to worship Hitler, even when he was alive and ruling.
The fact he escaped 39 (!) assassination attempts (and many more, which were planned but foiled) should prove he was not that loved, after all.
Ever heard of "The White Rose"? They are actually worshipped as heroes here.
I will thank God forever that people like Sophie Scholl and her friends existed.
