  • Does anyone have the full episode with the Hawaiian vacation?

  • @sweetlife031: The Hawaiian vacation stretches over six episodes, if you count the packing-and-leaving prelude in #1090. I originally posted them as a series of clips because YouTube didn't allow me to upload anything longer than 10 minutes until last year. Search for any Sesame Street clips from Episodes 1090 through 1095 and you'll get the whole story...

  • It's kind of funny how they never actually come out and said that Linda were a couple!

  • @snoopy64116: Linda even denied it in a few late 80s episodes--especially after Luis and Maria settled down together. Other characters demanded to know when Linda would marry Bob and have his baby; she swore it wasn't going to happen!

  • Ant clue what year this was from?

  • It first aired in January of 1978.

  • I remembered watching the Sesame Street going to Hawaii when I was little and I think I remembered seeing this clip as well when it aired on TV. I was in San Jose back then.

  • Maybe b/c Luis was just a beginner in it.

  • @escottish140 The street scenes were indeed like a continuing drama. You had Gordon and Susan (the stable married couple), Maria and David (the young loves) and Bob and Linda (the cute couple)...then you had Luis and Olivia (the happy-go-lucky single and FREE folks) and Mr. Hooper (that father figure)... I loved them.

  • I often wondered if Bob nd Linda had a thing goin on. Still do.

  • I can't believe Linda left Sesame Street in 2003 she's one of the characters that I grew up with.

  • oh man I had the biggest crush on Bob when I was 6... seriously i told everyonbe i was going to marry him :P... looking back... he was pretty darn good looking; good spot me :P

No, no, no. I'm not Linda. Operator, you don't understand. You see, Linda can't use the phone because she's deaf. And so I have to interpret for her. No, operator. You don't understand. Just a minute, please.

  • How come Bob didn't just ask Luis if he knew how to say I Love You in sign language
