@littlesport81 sorry to hear that. but i think Jeremy popoff wrote this song for his son sort of apologizing for being away on tour for long but explaining why and hopes he will understand that he's doing it all just to make his life as good as possible.

That sucks.Sorry about your dad.This song is about someone like a kid and when his parents promised to play with them,but didn't,but it's for the better like they had to make money or something.This song comes from a mother's/father's point of view,like them talking.
