Never will be anyone in my lifetime with the voice that this man had. God threw away the mold when he gave us this special man. I can listen to his music over and over and am always amazed at what a way he had with a song .And most of these done when he was only in his twenties. he will always be the greatest.

THESE BALLADS OH LORD NO ONE CAN SING THEM LIKE ELVIS.....I DONT CARE FOR TO MANY SINGERS TODAY....ELVIS WAS AND IS MY NUMBER ONE BOY. HE WILL ALWAYS BE ELVIS THE KING OF ROCK

Well, what can improve on this?....the arrangement...the quality of the production but most of all that silky, tender voice. Just perfect. I have owned the original Pot Luck LP since it came out and it is full of masterpieces. Great pics Jackie.

A Beautiful song,
A good man with a kind heart.
He is missed.

@devilinthedust And maybe we'd have half the music that we have today.
I'd rather have Elvis' music than see him in West Side Story. I'll take Harem Scarum over WSS any day on the strength of Harem Holiday alone.

Few singers can sing a ballad like Elvis. His singing flows effortlessly. This unique ability of any *great* singer allows the listener to sit back and enjoy the song.

Written by Paul Evans and Al Byron. Elvis recorded it March 18, 1962 at RCAs Nashville studios. It is available on Pot Luck, Tickle Me Deluxe Edition, and From Nashville to Memphis-The Essential 60s Masters.
