I was lucky here. I stayed behind the driver a there was a bus ahead and I was hesitant about undertaking it in the cycle lane.

Had I not been hesitant I probably would have been knocked off.

I'll take more care in the future along here around the junctions.

  • Why bother indicating? Just use telepathy instead.

  • That particular junction is a nightmare, I've seen a cyclist very, very nearly knocked off as someone beckoned a car out of that road who then proceeded to pull out without checking for cyclists/motorcyclists in cycle lane or filtering. Also see these signal-less turns quite often too. All cyclists seem to use the cycle lane here though and not filter down the middle... so they must at least feel reasonably safe? Ever consider filtering between the two lanes here? Just curious.
