One of the hardest questions for me to answer is "How long have you been playing music?" because I have been a musician for as long as I can remember. I would not be a musician today if it were not for my father, who not only provided me with musical instruments at a very early age but also gave me encouragement and passion and exposed me to great music, from Bach to The Beatles. I got my start by watching my dad's band practice at our house until I was finally allowed to join the band when I was 15.

My father lost his battle with cancer on September 2, 1999 and that is why I have decided that on September 2, 2010, I will try to give back some of the gift that he gave to me by playing guitar live on the internet for 24 hours straight to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO DONATE to help, you can also help by spreading the word and passing this along to everyone you know. The more people who hear about this and tune in, the more money will be raised. The more money that gets raised, the closer we will get to ending this disease.

Peace, Hope and Love,
Kevy Nova
