@barracuda7018 The apache the uk uses was completely built in the uk it has been upgraded to be superior to the american version with better engines which gives about 10% to 20% more power and avionics which allows it to use the longbow radar in all climates un like the US. The british version is also navalised which means it can be used from navy ships unlike the US. The Army Air Corps trains in the US for afghanistan as the UK is an island and has no desert areas. I'm American, and I can tell the British, to ignore all these other ignorant americans talking crap. YouTube is full of these idiots, but it's funny how they dont seem to be enlisted and actually in the military. If they did, then they would see that the British and Americans are side by side. @barracuda7018. When I said British apache, I meant the ones operated by the British. I did state the fact that they are US made. but the Army Air Corps aircraft had had significant upgrades. And another thing, the british pilots go to the US to train because the landcape is similar to afganistan, there is more room to fire weapons than in the UK, and they get to enhance their skills with their American counterparts. Not to learn how to fly it. The engines were designed by RR and turbemeca.

@mr9396 RR engines in the UK version are not even British they are Turbomeca engines developed in France you idiot..More powerful engines are the result of specific requirements and nothing else.There is no British Apache,its an American designed and developed aircraft manufactured by Westland under licence.Fire control computers and Hellfire anti tank missiles which makes this aircraft the deadliest tank killer on the planet are all US designed.

@Pringles352 no lol, considering the massive budget our navy has that just isnt the case, the new queen lizzy is going to get catobar which weve been using for decades while the rn used ramps lol--meanwhile we'll be installing emals on our new gerald r ford class. The differences between one arleigh burke and one type 45 is really tit for tat, not to mention well have the new zumwalt class by about 2015 which will blow both out of the water (lol pun not intended).
