I think alexi's was way better back in the day...he didn't fuck up as much as he does now. But don't get me wrong I'm not hating, cob is my favorite band :D

His Jacksons were custom shops. Jackson didn't have any 24fret Rhoadses as series model back then.
If they had anything else than an OFR (which I doubt), they did, because Alexi speced'em that way.
Pretty much all USA Jacksons come with OFRs stock.

Hendrix was sick, Vai's a master, but I like Alexi because he's got great melodic sense. The solo from Everytime I Die is fucking gorgeous. My favourites are Frank Zappa and Jari Maenpaa though.
