Ep 6


Once we had left the Jonas's selena pulled over and looked at me, "okai, tell me everything" she said, "fine, im going to be his date to thier barbaque tomorrow" selena smirked "i thought you didnt like them, afterall you told me not to mix with them" i laughed at her, "yeah well things have changed, anyway what was all that with you and nicholas" i watched as her face grew red and she started the car "he's a very sweet young man, and im going to be his date tomorrow" she said, "so your not going out then" i smiled, i could tell she wanted to change the subject "no we dont ... yet" she smirked "so you do like him that way then" i asked her "i guess i do" she said and she almost laughed "atleast now you cant give me anystick about dating nick" i glared at her "what do you mean?" she smiled at me "well if you've started dating joe, then you cant give me stick about dating nick"


We got home and unloaded the horse's out of the trailor, we put them into the empty field at the back of the house, One was a Black and White Coloured Cob named Jester and the other was a brown dapled welsh-conomara cross named Holly ... Selena took the female Holly so i got the male Jester. We sat in the field grooming them for about an hour then we headed inside to get ready for daddys party.


Selena had curled her hair again and was wearing a white ball dress with white heals, she had on a silver diamond necklace. She put on a little eyeliner and a dark red lipstick,. She looked beautiful. I settled for a black ball dress and black heels. i borrowed one of selena's necklaces and copyed her make-up and straightened my hair. I always thought selena looked better than me, even when she didnt try hard, i couldnt help but feel jealous.


We walked downstairs arm in arm again. We went into the big dining room where the party would be taking place. Selena put on a cd and we danced about like idiots untill the guests arrived then we settled down and tried to entertain most of them. We only knew one of the guests there so we didnt speak that much. I was walking to get more food for them all when somebody grabbed my arm. It was Cody from the carnival. Both him and his brother David were here with thier dad. I should of guessed they would've been here, they were probably the richest people in this town, apart from us.


"hello Demetria" cody said, i smiled at him "hi" i said back, somehow after that kiss with joe i didnt feel attracted to him anymore, "if you dont mind cody, i really must go get more shrimp, i dont want the guests to complain" i gave him a smile and walked off. When i came back david was whispering something into selena's ear and she didnt look impressed. i walked over to them, as i appraoched david grabbed selena's hand and selena shook it off. "Demi!" she squeeled as she saw me, and then she grabbed my hand and ran outta the hall and up the stairs. "selly, whats rong" i asked her, "HE WAS CHATTING ME UP, THAT SNOBBY BASTA---" i cut in so she wouldnt say the word "you didnt mind when nicholas started chattin you up yesterday" she looked at me "well nicks different, plus i do kinda like like him" she smiled then it turned to a frown "plus that little snob had no right!"


After that i tried my hardest to stay with selena and not go near david or cody, poor david was wondering what he had done wrong, then again i wasnt supposed to feel sorry for david, selena was my best friend and adopted sister, and i was gonna have to stand by her no matter what. the party was over by 11pm and once me and selena had tidyed and changed into our pj's and sat down with mamma and daddy. We sat beside one another and i looked at selena, she was about to tell them we both had dates tomorrow
