  • @SilentShadowLT 4.9 ft? Holy fuck, thats tiny. I know a fellow who has a growth disorder who is taller than that. I'd feel rather dwarfish if i was that size. I knew that living conditions influences size, but i never thought it was that drastic.

  • @Arelak Technically his comment is bullshit, since the romans commented on the size of barbarians in several historical accounts, and unless they are 3ft, northern euros being 4.9ft makes no sense at all.

  • @Pawnbroker00 Gives new meaning to the old myths of "giant gods" once you know that truth because suddenly "god" or "gods" become just someone who was well fed and knew what NUTRITION meant!

  • @Azamir Unclear, few errors - can't understand. Try again...

  • @SilentShadowLT ... i usually talk about things in a centext, if you dont....

  • @Azamir Well this chat is about MEDIEVAL not renaissance, what were YOU saying?

  • @SilentShadowLT this show is about BRITAIN, not italy. so... you were saying?

  • @Azamir It began in Italy, you agreed to it your self, which means that renaissance was already in the 14th century.

  • @SilentShadowLT it began in different parts of the world at different times. And the ideas of the renaissance and their consequences on ruling, society, art etc. didn't BEGIN to spread north of italy until FAR later than in italy itself. therefor renaissance also BEGAN at different times in different countries.

  • @Azamir You seem to not understand the word "began".

  • @SilentShadowLT ... have you EVER looked at a world map? have you ever understood that messages took months and years to get across the planet in earlier times? Renaissance, and therefor the END of the middle ages, wasn't one moment, and boom, everything's different. it was a process, that slowly enveloped the known world, and changed a lot of things. japanese middle ages are even far longer, because of the strict enclosure and enduring shogunate until well into the 19th century.
