SORRY! Not a good version...original guys should not mess with thier good stuff...leave it in our memory as the great studio recording it was....leave this re arrangement stuff for newer guys...

This song would be so much better if they took it a bit slower (like on the Icon Acoustic TV Broadcast recording). As it is, John's rushed through those high notes and hitting a few rotten eggs... love his voice and Geoff's piano, but this one isn't doing it for me...

I do like this song, and I've been a big fan of Asia and the other spinoffs involving the band's members for a long while now. I just have to say, though, that this doesn't do the song justice. It's not meant to be a piano+vocal song, it just doesn't work!

I figured that out about 5 minutes after posting that question. I cut and pasted the birthday party info into Google and found it on there. Thank you for the great postings and the reply.
