  • i have two 925 chains.... do you think i can sell them?

  • @ALMIGHTYIGZ absolutely, weight them, list them on ebay, describe them as "silver jewelry" and they'll sell quick.

  • That lighter is a Ronson Adonis. I inherited one from my grandfather.

Not 100% sure of the period but it's in the Art Deco style so it'll be older than the 50's probably. I'd say somewhere between the 30's and 50's. Most likely it was in production for years, decades even.

It may or may not have a date stamp. Check the bottom near the flint compartment.

No idea of what they're worth. Mine holds extreme sentimental value so I've never even considered selling it.

    Hope this helps.

  • @tvsinesperanto Yes, good information thanks for the heads up. I'll check the flint compartment.

WWII Nickels. Years '42-46 are 30% silver. Some of the 42 & 46s are clad but everything inbetween has silver. The mint mark is above the Monticello on all Silver Nickels you can't miss it. Any Non-Silver would have mint mark to bottom right of Monticello or none at all. Buffs are fun to find too although they aren't silver. Good luck.

  • @cdubMRA What nickels are good? I know pre-1965 dimes and quarters have 90% silver but I haven't seen anything about nickels of certain years having favorable content like that.

  • hey ...you got some cool stuff there Bern. Good find..:))

  • @MrB0TT now that's what i call a QUALITY answer.

  • @MrB0TT

    Thanks man, appreciate the info.

  • @pinegrove33 Bern, looks like plenty of DIY stuff on web......some talk about using Acetalene Torches.

I didn't see any "Build your own Kiln" on YT yet. But at least on Web looks interesting...
