Inflight Air France Boeing 747-400 Upper Deck

30.1.2009. From Paris to Bangkok with F-GITA. I managed to get a seat from upper deck.

Nicknamed "Gitanic". On September 12, 1993, while landing in poor weather on Runway 22 at Tahiti's FAAA International Airport, the crew lost control in end of the runway and the aircraft hydroplaned into the Pacific Ocean. Only 4 wounded was to regret. The plane was relatively damaged: the engine and other parts of the plane where changed and and it returned to service.
