Down and dirty, super-gritty funk from Stu Gardner's 1974 Stax LP "Sanctified Sound". Multi-talent Stu, who, among many other merits, was Bill Cosby's musical director during the Cosby Show years, (and co-wrote the theme "Kiss Me"), was "discovered" by Cosby. The story appears on the LP and I have scanned the sleeve, hopefully for your enjoyment. There are other incredible tracks on the LP, including "Sister Matilda" and "Funky Neighborhood".
