I play this on clarinet I love the song!

Sammy's voice was better than Sinatrs's...a wondrous range. Seems he was overshadowed by Frank's popularity.

I saw the revival of Stop the World twice when it came through Chicago in 1978. And each night, his performance was as electrifying as you see here. A magnificent talent and national treasure.

An American Master...gave his life to any song he sang
Everyone above said it all.
How bout we give Sammy a free pass for an unlimited life and bring him back. He earned it with the beauty, love, talent and joy he gave all of us.
I have the passes. Bring them back (Judy,Dean, Frank, Ella, and on and on) and I will give them all the passes.
Shoot don`t we all miss them terribly. At least we have their recordings.
Hats off to YOU TUBE

What a stunning interpretation of a truly great song. Sammy Davis Jr could have sung his laundry list and been brilliant. However, Mr. Newley never came at 'Fool' twice from the same angle, and that is what makes him the master.
