  • @mildseven0506 It's more complicated than that. They also had Pearl Jam and even Pumpkins ("alien") elements. People didn't feel they were authentic (rightly or not).Interscope records wanted a radio-friendly, palatable grunge band (they wanted to sign Stiltskin- check them out, you'll have a laugh- but signed Bush instead). A band that would do every appearance and be marketed in America.Gavin's pre Bush music didn't sound as cool as the inluence he put forward later btw.

  • @FuckitnFightit My favorite Red Wing. Henrik Zetterberg.

  • gavin looks like henrik zetterberg

  • @TheShyPieGuy dude nirvana fans compare nirvana to everyone. its lame but they like to do it

  • r.i.p. real mtv !!!

  • back when music was good!

  • @nesthutju

    Exactly!

  • Bush and Nirvana had similar lyrics yes, nothing really made sense. They also had a completely different sound, Bush more on the musical side Kurt Cobain tended to talk more than sing on his tracks. I say in the 90's you could compare most every grunge band and have similarities. I like them both but in no way will i mix up a nirvana track for a bush track or vice versa.

  • idk, to me it doesn't seem or even feel like bush copied nirvana, grunge was in and many bands, even pearl jam and soundgarden had a somewhat similar sound and idea, so to say that bush are rip off's doesnt make sense, i think ppl throw that out there because post-nirvana there were more alternative rather than grunge groups, so the sound seemed to loose its touch and the fact that they were british, alot of ppl knock them just on that fact alone!

  • im suprised he didn't mention Nirvana..
