@skullrandy That car wasn't even safe, it couldn't take corners properly and had far too much power for its own good. Doesn't help when the guy who's driving it is pissed either.

Anybody who has followed Mark Griffiths' racing career will know that he would do anything to avoid letting someone beat him on the track. His instinct when John got through was therefore to keep his foot to the floor rather than take action to avoid running into him, it is as simple as that. On some occasions thais sort of instinct leads to race wins, at other times it leads to actions that should be punished. In this case, the latter was clearly true.

Too right he should have been black flagged, Ive raced in class 7 for 10 years now and he is a mardy arse when you over take him !!!

Well to be fair he did cut back in front of him but as the way the we saw it noone could see his brake light so if his brake light came on then it\ would of been fair but if it didnt then it was fair

Ok, maybe Mark could have not climbed him! But it happens very quickly, momentum etc. Difficult to call. Had the race continued there would have been complaints, and a rerun inevitable, so probably the marshalls were right to stop it. No I don't think Mark deserved a black, but from the other side of the argument it would have played into the 'favouritism' hands if he had been allowed back in. I'm on the fence I'm afraid, but hard call for the officials, credit due for bravery I guess!
