@Praiseboi What God has for you, it is for you. Sometimes we try to rush the hand of God and make a shipwreck out of what should have been something beautiful and long lasting. God may be molding the person for you (discarding old baggage, teaching him/her how to truly love as well as be receptive to true love, working on attitudes that may be detrimental to a healthy relationship, etc.) ; when both parties are not united on God's term and in His timing, a disaster is almost certain to prevail.
