@jackrusselleko That was perfect english jack :D

Pretty damn nice work - overall. In singular aspect - the blade profile is just PERFECT in my way of view at this type of knives.

great looking knife and beatifull sheath, but isn´t that shape a chefs-knife, more than a bowie?
i love the riveting on the handlebtw.

scary unit

great bowie knife man. I forge my own knives to. I subscribed :)

@saxonforge I think "bowie knife" is more of a generalization now, there are to many variants of the knife for anyone to be called the true bowie knife, but this is just my opinion.

Very nice Searles-patterned bowie---Jim Bowie was said to use that style blade. Thanks for showing it off!!!

@BrotherIan Thanks for viewing and for the comment. I am very fond of guard-less Bowie knives because of their handling characteristics. I will be offering a variety of similar knives in near future.

Not a bowie like knife, but still cool.

@strawalker Thank you for viewing and for the comment. Its true that many perceive the classic bowie to be a large clip point with some sort of cross guard but I have viewed many period pieces that diversify from that stereotype.

Some explaination along with the showing of this knife would have been nice. I really like the sheath, the blade is not as thick as I perfer on my bowies, but I love the handle. Overall, a really cool looking blade.

@1861doc Thank you for viewing and for the compliment. I auction my work on gun broker .com where they are described in more detail and just wanted to show the viewers what they look like in hand. I agree the video is nothing to brag about but I'm very new to you tube.My videos will definitely become more informative in future. I start out with 3/16 or 1/4 inch stock but the forging process does thin them about .001 inch. They are very strong blades with tough spines&hard edges.
