this guy is unique couse his music, but this song's Theme is the very same in melody and Harmony from Beethoven's 5th Symphony 2nd mov, in the minor part, when clarinet and oboe come

Since very young I was captured by Vangelis' talent and started to collect all his releases. Nowadays, I have a wonderful collection in vinyl and Cd's that I treasure the most.
I consider Vangelis a genius and in the near future he will be recognize as one of the greatest masters of music of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Long live and prolific life for Vangelis

you are kidding??? whilst you are entitled to your opinion , the panpipe version is just a pale copy lacking the majestic glory and just about everything that made the original such an inspiring piece.

to label Vangelis as a movie composer , although its very nice to call him the 2nd best.. , i think its a seriously restrictive title when you consider what he does, movie composing is just a smaller part of what he does... he does so much more than a movie composer. But its a nice compliment never the less Sherrycee.
