Listen to how much heart and emotion the voice actor for Gabranth has. When he tells Basch: "as long as I can curse your name I cannot be defeated"...that gave me chills. And when Gabranth says "your life ends at my blade" you can just feel in his voice, all the years of hate he built up towards Basch.
The voice actor was perfect. I don't understand why FF7 fans run around youtube and post comments about how this game's voice acting "sucked" when their game has no voice acting whatsoever.

I loved the characters and story of Basch and Gabranth. I would have loved that to be the main focus of the game, and it was literally the only reason why I kept playing this game.

Notice how this video has zero dislikes? Shows exactly how awesome Gabranth and this game is. Go and bag it because Squareenix tried something new with the fighting system, and went away from crystals and tried something new. This game is still awesome.

@teh5abiking They have deemed that it would just be too epic to exist. Players would squeal like a little girl everytime he says "HATRED IS WHAT DRIVES ME" or "MY SUSTENANCE IS TRUE HATRED".
