@LPJim Actually Collector's Choice has released (so far) the only domestic "Greatest Hits" CD release (Another was released only in Japan). However, this song, for some reason is not on it (too bad, it's their best!).

@3896F Ironically enough my grandfather played on all of their lps, (lew mccreary) he played in studio only and appeared on all of their covers. never toured with them.
Got to meet Dave Wells also, could not have been a nicer guy

Nearly all of these guys are Jews masquerading as Mexicans, whatever that was about we may never know. I bought all their albums and still listen on the old victrola. They did excellent covers and a few great originals like this one.

Julius Wechter played on all the TJB recordings and wrote some of their songs. The only thing he didn't do is tour with them since he had his own tours to do.

Hey look there's my husband Frank De Caro on rythm guitar(far right). I met my future husband while watching the Ed Sullivan show from Providence, RI. Frank was 26 , I was 13. The group was introduced as "The Baja Boys" and I thought they were very entertaining. Their music, especially with Nick De Caro as arranger, would have been enjoyed for several more years with more support from A&M. In any case , they were gifted musicians and had an amazing career.
