I agree with you Olrors! The presenters should always be impartial when annoucing the top hits of the week. They all deserve the same chance regardless of who likes what. It all changed in the 90's. It's never been the same since.

Ah the days when Top Of The Pops was a (relatively) impartial CHART SHOw!!
*bows to 'True Faith'*

From 1986 to 1993 music in the UK was utter fucking shit thanks to the likes of these wankers on TOTP's.

Radio 1 DJs are such a disgusting breed.

Whoa... this is from July 30th? That's my birthday, actually - LOL. I was born in 1975 though. I definitely remember "True Faith" being on the radio in Houston, TX at the time it was out. Huge impact on me. Adored New Order since then.

Toss up between Gary Davies or Peter Penis Powell as to who was the most ,bland vaccuous, boring D.J./Top of the Pops presenter !!! Oh sorry forgot about Mike Smith! Some cracking music though(Not Roadblock of course)

Yes it is an absolute classic. What is interesting is that I never really liked the song for nearly 20 years until I heard it on American Top 40 - The 80s and heard the "Morning Sun Remix" edit. After that point, I bought the 12" version on Itunes, but still had a bloody hard time looking for the 7" edit of that special version. In short this up to date one of my most played songs (overall since 2007) on Itunes so far up to #55, Thanks for sharing!:)
Thanks for continuing to put these great charts on YouTube. Looking forward to some more.
