  • Thanks for the video review - both are great pedals, the spring chicken seems more transparent. I ended up keeping the spring chicken and the chicklet is in the drawer for the moment. As I understand it, the chicklet is buffered vs the spring chicken which is true bypas - this might account for some of the difference in volume. For the most part, reverb seems like one of those "last to add" pedals, so the size and price of the chicklet make it pretty appealing.

  • chicklet sounds much more ordinary-like a holy grail or boss rv5-spring chicken sounds really realistic and nice, much better to my ears.

  • chickens got more balls

  • Hey gratz on the best review of both pedals in my opinion. Soundquality is quite good actually. You mentioned that the Spring Chicken is still being sold in some stores. I'd love to know where. If you could help me out with that I'd appreciate that a lot. Also The Spring Chicken seems to leave the original signal more intact, but also takes away a bit of volume. Would that be a right assessment according to your experience? Keep up the reviews! 5/5
