@Nabi1117 aside from the crappy sound via my pc speakers, I could understand him and I'm a US-born white chick. Why are you watching a video taped in India by Indians when you've got so much hatred for anyone speaking a language other than your own?

@BuzzKila He had a thali which is, by definition, a variety of foods. This is sort of like their version of a buffet (without the all-you-can-eat aspect) only the food comes to you. At home they'd usually have one kind of bread or rice, dal, one or two vegetables, and depending on the region, possibly a meat-based dish. Also some of the items were condiments that you'd keep in the fridge from day to day like we would do with ketchup.

Do Indians really eat such a big variety of food in one sitting? Must be a pain in the ass for the person cooking to make like 12 different dishes for just dinner. It seems so inconvenient and most people are just too lazy to bother cooking so many different courses
