A father and son duo - New Hampshire residents Ryan and Brennish Thomson perform for the Oyster River Folk concert series at the Universalist Unitarian Church, In Durham, New Hampshire, USA, on October 1st, 2011. In this video they play the hungarian gypsy tune - Friss Csardas, on banjo and fiddle.

  • @calmlikeabomb123 Thanks for writing. I'm glad that you like it. I learned to play it on banjo from listening to my son play it on violin. He learned it by ear himself. I improvise around the melody on banjo, but have never seen or heard of written banjo music for it. We've recorded our version of it on our recent CD - "Fiddling Thomsons, Music for both Hands." Its available at CD Baby, iTunes, and Amazon also.
